Many claim that homosexuality is a recent phenomenon or a Western concept that infiltrated Arab societies. History completely contradicts this gay and lesbian people have always been present in all Islamic eras, and pre-Islamic ones. In this publication, we gathered love stories between people of the same gender that have happened centuries ago, as proof to stand against erasure of homosexual relationships from Arab history.
